Effective date: 17 October 2026. This notice explains how Zellige Atelier handles information supplied through zelligeatelier.com. Zellige Atelier is an independent Moroccan zellige sourcing and quotation project, not a ceramic factory or a stock-owning retailer.
Who is responsible for your information?
Zellige Atelier operates this website and is responsible for enquiries submitted through it. For privacy-related questions, requests to access, correct or erase data, or concerns about an enquiry, use our contact and enquiry page and write “Privacy request” in the message. The business’s full legal entity details, physical postal address and dedicated privacy contact should be added here once finalized; this page must not be interpreted as a statement that those details have already been verified.
What data do we collect?
When you send an enquiry, request a quote or sample, or submit a sourcing specification, we may receive your name, business/studio name, email address, telephone number, country, city, destination, proposed timeline, selected tile references, quantities, drawings or other attachments, and any further details that you choose to provide. The site and hosting provider may also process technical information such as IP address, browser details, security events, necessary cookies and request timestamps.
What do we do with it?
We use enquiry information to respond to requests, evaluate the feasibility of tile sourcing, contact potential artisan suppliers where necessary, prepare or review quotations, coordinate agreed orders, maintain reasonable business records and protect against spam or misuse. We do not claim to have a selected supplier or available stock merely because a design reference appears on our website. Where we ask for consent, that consent authorizes processing for the described enquiry; if an approved order follows, contractual and legal obligations may also apply.
Who can receive the information?
Appropriately authorized personnel handling enquiries may access your contact and project details. We may share only the information needed to evaluate or deliver a request with a relevant workshop, shipping partner or professional adviser, subject to appropriate arrangements. Website hosting, transactional email, security, content management, and other technical providers may process data to supply services to us. They may operate in different countries, so transfers can arise in connection with an international project. We do not sell customer contact details to advertisers.
How do we handle uploaded drawings and attachments?
We ask customers to avoid uploading confidential architectural plans, identity documents, financial records or other highly sensitive material until we have expressly confirmed an appropriately protected transfer method. A normal web upload must not be treated as an encrypted private document vault. Where appropriate, we can discuss safer delivery arrangements with you individually. PDF, image or other attachments must be relevant to a legitimate quotation request and should not include unnecessary personal data.
How long do we keep data?
The site’s automated routine is configured to delete certain new or unsuccessful sourcing leads after approximately 730 days, subject to the routine actually running. Information connected to completed orders and legitimate accounting, contractual or dispute responsibilities may be kept longer where needed. Technical logs, backups and email records may follow different provider-specific retention schedules. You can request review or deletion when legally applicable.
Cookies, analytics and third-party services
The site uses WordPress, WooCommerce (in quotation/catalogue mode), LiteSpeed Cache and hosting-related services. Essential cookies may help provide security, session functions, remember temporary choices or manage a quote form. Hosting-related measurement or email features may also be active. The exact cookie and third-party processing inventory should be verified against the live hosting and plugin configuration before optional analytics or marketing consent features are enabled. If non-essential tracking is introduced, we should obtain consent where required.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the rules applicable to your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, or to withdraw consent to optional processing. Requests can be made through the enquiry page marked “Privacy request”. We may need to verify that a request concerns your information before responding. You may also have the right to contact the relevant data protection authority.
Security
We use HTTPS and controls such as form validation, anti-spam mechanisms and restricted access to private enquiry records. However, no internet transmission or file-storage system is guaranteed entirely secure. Do not include sensitive personal or commercial secrets in a general web form. If you have security or privacy concerns, ask for a more appropriate communication method before sending the files.
Updates and contact
We may revise this notice to reflect changes to website services, processors or applicable law. The date above identifies this version. For business, sample and privacy enquiries, use our contact form. For material sourcing transparency, see our Editorial Policy & Sources.
Notice requiring final legal review: Zellige Atelier must add a verified legal entity name, registered address and a working dedicated privacy email/contact mechanism, and review host/vendor contracts before treating this notice as a complete jurisdiction-specific compliance policy.
