30 internal color references for 500 Moroccan tile design concepts. This chart defines a consistent vocabulary for Zellige Atelier enquiries targeting architects, designers and importers in the United States. The numbers are our internal identifiers; they are not universal Moroccan zellige standards or supplier numbers.
How the ZELLIGE-COL reference system works
Our reference ZELLIGE-COL-0001 identifies the Moroccan White color direction. A different product format (square, bejmat, hexagon or mosaic) can share that color reference while retaining its own distinct WooCommerce SKU. The reference helps buyers communicate intentions; it does not guarantee that a supplier can produce the exact pictured shade.
Zellige Atelier digital color reference chart
Every swatch below is an approximate digital illustration. Physical sample approval is essential because clay, glaze, firing, lighting, screen calibration and handmade variation affect color.

Color reference is not a supplier reference
A workshop may use its own glaze-numbering convention or a hand-labeled sample board. To avoid confusion, include both Our Reference and Supplier Reference (to be confirmed) in a final project specification. Colors shown here are illustrative targets, not certified color-matched production batches.
Request zellige in a specific color
Open the Tile Finder, search by color name, select the required form, and submit a project quotation request with the color reference, tile shape, application, measurements and U.S. city/state/ZIP code. We identify a potential supplier after your enquiry and confirm actual color/finish through workshop photography or physical samples before contracting.
